About

Read5 records air-band radio from software-defined receivers, aligns each transmission to the millisecond, and lets you replay any window of time across several frequencies at once. The name is the Australian radio-check reply, "reading you five": perfectly readable.

Audio is public broadcast and is stored in the clear. Channels are named for the published service they carry, so a frequency reused elsewhere in the country is a different channel.

Aircraft tracks from ADS-B, transcription and notes are planned. Playback comes first.
