Read5 is a personal, non-commercial project that records and replays air-band radio received off-air. By signing in and using the site you agree to these terms.

What you get

Signed-in users may listen to the recordings for personal, non-commercial use. The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, completeness or accuracy. Recordings may have gaps, timing errors or missing channels, and may be removed at any time.

What you agree to

Do not use the site or its recordings for any operational, safety or navigational purpose. The audio is not an official record and must not be relied on. Do not bulk-download, scrape, redistribute or resell recordings, and do not attempt to bypass sign-in or access controls. Do not use the site to harass, track or identify any person.

Accounts

Sign-in is through Google or Discord. We may suspend or remove access at our discretion, in particular for breaches of these terms. You can stop using the site at any time; signing out clears the session cookie. See the privacy page for what we store.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Read5 and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

Changes

These terms may change as the site gains features. Material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
